Jammu: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 25 grams of heroin from one accused person in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Bishnah.
A police team of PS Bishnah led by SHO Bishnah while on naka duty at sikanderpur kothey, near bricklin rounded up a suspected person later identified as :- Mohd Bika @ Bikka Gujjer S/o Alam Din R/o Sikanderpur kothey on search, 25 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 02/24 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS got registered in PS Bishnah and the accused person got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
