REASI, JANUARY 06: District Development Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan chaired a meeting of the District Level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee to finalize a comprehensive action plan for 100% saturation of Aadhaar cards and mandatory biometric updates.

The focus was on strategizing mechanisms, particularly for children, with a detailed review of Aadhaar saturation statistics and Aadhaar Seva Kendras in Reasi.

The DDC highlighted the importance of enrolling children aged 0-5 years at Anganwadi Centres, immunization centers, and school students. He emphasized the establishment of dedicated Aadhaar enrollment counters and mandated all district employees to update their Aadhaar details by January 31st.

To ensure widespread coverage, three-day enrollment camps in each tehsil, coupled with targeted awareness campaigns through Radio and Social Media, were recommended.

The DDC urged all officers to update Aadhaar details by December 31st and called on departments to lead awareness initiatives.

The meeting included the presence of ADDC Jyoti Slathia, CEO Sunita Bali, Project manager UIDAI Shoaib Khan, LDM Reasi, DIO, Dy.Sp Hqrs Neeraj Padyar and concerned officers.
