JAMMU, Jan 13: The J&K Dharmarth Trust is all set to host a four-day grand celebration at the revered Shree Raghunathji Temple in Jammu, marking the auspicious occasion of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony and the inauguration of Shree Ram Lalla Mandir in Ayodhya on January 21 and 22, 2024.
Chaired by Trustee M.K Ajatshatru Singh and Kunwarani Dr Ritu Singh, a crucial planning meeting was held at the iconic Raghunathji Temple in Jammu.
In the meeting, Brig R.S Langeh (Retd), President of J&K Dharmarth Trust, and SSP Ashok Sharma (Retd), Secretary, Varinder Jamwal, Additional Secretary, along with other members, actively participated in strategizing the event.
At the beginning of the meeting, Secretary Ashok Sharma presented an insightful overview of the extensive preparations, encompassing the decoration of all Ramji temples within the Trust’s purview, the ceremonial Pran Pratistha coinciding with the propitious Abhijeet Mahurat of Ram Lalla, crowd management strategies, Bhajan Sandhaya, and visit of VIPs, local administration officers, and prominent personalities from Jammu.
Adding a cultural and musical flair to the festivities, renowned singers such as Sonali Dogra, Ravi Raghuvanshi, Raman Salathia, Nirbhay Salathia and Vishal Gupta will enthrall the devotees with their melodious voice on January 22 at Shree Raghunath ji temple Jammu. The celebration will further showcase the vibrant cultural heritage of the region through the captivating Kud Dance performed by local folk artists. Dogri Dham, a traditional Dogra cuisine, will be served among the devotees.
The four-day grand celebration will start with Sunderkand Paath which will be held at Shree Raghunathji Temple on January 19, 2024.
It is pertinent to mention that Dr. Karan Singh, Hon’ble Chairman Trustee, and Trustee Vikramaditya Singh are personally overseeing and supervising every aspect of this significant event at Shree Raghunathji Temple.
Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh provided clear directives for the implementation of comprehensive arrangements during the upcoming four-day grand celebration at Shree Raghunathji Temple. Understanding the significance of the occasion, she emphasized the need for meticulous planning to ensure that every aspect of the event, from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony to the inauguration of Shree Ram Lalla Mandir, unfolds seamlessly.
Kunwarani Dr. Ritu Singh also informed that the Akhand Paath of Shri RamCharitmanas will start on January 20, 2024, starting precisely at 10:00 AM in the temple complex. This continuous recitation will span 24 hours, concluding on January 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM.

Trust’s President, Brig R.S. Langeh (Retd) assured the Trustee for foolproof arrangements of the upcoming grand celebration at Shree Raghunathji Temple, making it a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for all participants and devotees.
Later, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, along with Dr. Ritu Singh and other officials, conducted a thorough inspection of the temple complex. During the walkthrough, they imparted essential directives to ensure the smooth execution of the upcoming gala event.
Emphasizing attention to detail, the Trustee aimed to guarantee that every aspect of the celebration is meticulously planned, fostering a sense of reverence and joy for all attendees.
