SAMBA, JANUARY 25: The Government of India has approved a new centrally sponsored scheme “ULLAS (Understanding of LifeLong Learning for All in Society)” to cover all the aspects of ‘Education For All’ to align with National Education Policy 2020.
A survey has been conducted under the scheme NBSK in which 4518 learners and 358 Volunteer teachers have been identified in district Samba who shall impart basic Education to the identified Non- Literate learners with an aim to achieve 100 % literacy.
The Chief Education Officer Samba, along with DNO ULLAS and other Officials of district Samba today distributed essential Teaching Learning Material for Teaching Learning centres to support learners (Identified Non Literate). This initiative is part of the ULLAS Programme aimed at enhancing Education For All in district Samba. This step is taken to ensure the teaching learning Centres have the necessary resources to provide Quality Education to the learners under NAV BHARAT SAKSHARATA KARYAKARAM – ULLAS SCHEME.
