One day workshops was conducted at Samsidh School at Samba where children witnessed a blend of academic accomplishments and a commitment to social responsibility. The aim of the workshop was to help students develop & include holistic learning strategies , moral values , inclusion of mannerisms qualities in their day to day life and social responsibilities.
Dr Navneet Kour founder Chairperson of NGO SUPPORT was invited as the chief guest and conducted the one day workshop with the Samsidhians. A unique workshop on 7 different verticals like Child Rights , Good touch -Bad Touch , Importance of first aid , Good manners , Moral Values, know your body , social responsibility, each one teach one , gender equality, importance of health and wellbeing was conducted by Dr Kour . Around 200 students attended the workshop.
Head Girl , conveyed their expectations for future batches, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community and and developing empathy. The event concluded with the Grade 10 th students calling out the community to continue supporting literacy and make a difference. Samsidhi embarks on its journey School , it symbolizes not only the gift of knowledge but also the commitment of Samsidhi School Sarore Jammu to shaping a brighter future through education and philanthropy .
“I want to inculcate moral values amongst my children”said Ms Chanda Gupta the Administrator of All India Samsidh Schools .
The coordinator Ms Ekta said that the aim of the workshop was to help students develop & include holistic learning strategies.
Dr Kour said that a series of such workshops will be conducted in all govt , cooperative and private schools . Ms Chanda recited the Sanskrit shlokas with its meaning . Children preformed by presenting different dances , group songs , speeches etc . They built a human chain to show their support for each other .
The staff and students were able to show their love for each other’s. Parents also appreciated their children and the staff for their able guidance on moral values and their role in helping others .
The vote of thanks was given by Ms Chanda Gupta thanking Dr Kaur , Students and staff for successful workshop & blessing ceremony for the 10 th class graduates . Dr Navneet Kour & Ms Chanda concluded that all teachers have to take responsibility for the ethical and moral stance they stand for as they definitely take the role of mentor and guide. Teachers are leaders, therefore, become a moral compass for their students who can become followers! It is a responsibility not to be taken lightly!
