highly corrupt officials eating the vitals of our state like termite.
Where the prime minister claims, ‘Na Khaoon Ga, Na Khane Doon Ga’, here is a story of a not so honest
Tehsildar, who gives too hoots to this clarion call of Modi is besides holding huge chunks of land and has
also got a multi crore commercial complex at a prime location, somewhere in the posh Greater Kailash
area of Jammu.
The said Tehsildar is so powerful that amongst friends he claims that neither Vigilance or ACB can touch
him as he is a master in the art of management.
Not only this, he also claims that he has deep roots in certain media houses who manage his mess which
explains that when we contacted him regarding certain land holdings, within minutes there was reaction
from various media friends who asked me to stay from him and his affairs as he had links at the right
places and that I will face the music, if I did not desist.
It may be recalled that in our last issue, we had writer about his huge benami land holding around
Jammu city.
“As the first investigation was getting under way, we tumbled upon a huge chunk of land which was
being developed into a commercial hub long side the National Highway just a few kilometers from
Jammu.
On enquiry, it came to light that a certain bureaucrats having deep roots in the revenue department
alongwith his businessmen friends was the fulcrum behind the illegal development of this piece of land.”
What explains the silence of the anti corruption bodies of the UT, maybe deliberately they have turned a
nelsons eye towards this bureaucrat turned businessman.
