Kishtwar : In a relentless pursuit to eradicate the menace of illicit liquor trade, Kishtwar Police apprehended one more notorious bootlegger and seized 24 bottles of JK Desi Whiskey 750 ml each.
Police party from Police Station Kishtwar, led by SHO kishtwar Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, during routine patrolling and naka checking.Naka party intercepted one vehicle during checking 24 bottles of illicit JK Desi Whiskey 750 ml each were recovered from his possession.The accused, identified as Rahul Kumar,S/o Rakesh Kumar, resident of Damna Dool Kishtwar.
In this regard case, FIR No. 15/2024 U/sec. 48(a) Excise Act, registered at PS Kishtwar, and the investigation taken up.
