Shiv Sena appealed public to raise voice on  liquor sale near educational and religious places  Liquor shops are the first step towards drug addiction:- Sahni
 Jammu:- Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit, continuing its campaign against the sale of liquor near religious places and educational institutions, today visited Janipur and Lower Roop Nagar in Jammu and raised its voice.
 Party state chief Manish Sahni said that after the busy Parade Chowk of Jammu and Shiv Market near Jammu Railway Station, today and  interacted with the residents of the area, especially women and youth, against the sale of liquor near a private school in Lakkarmandi, Janipur.  On which many people expressed strong anger and said that there should be no hearing of the general public.  A woman from the area, on the condition of anonymity, said that the prevalence of drug addiction among the youth is increasing day by day, the easy and doorstep availability of liquor is largely responsible for this.  He said that the first step towards drug addiction is liquor shops.  At the same time, people of Lower Roop Nagar area expressed strong objection to the sale of liquor near Saibaba Temple and JDA flats, saying that it has become difficult for women to go out after dark.  There is a temple a few yards away on both the left and right sides of this liquor shop, which is also hurting the religious sentiments of the people.  Sahni said that his campaign will continue until the sale of liquor is banned near religious and educational institutions.  Sahni said that day after tomorrow voice will be raised against the sale of liquor near Maa Durga Temple in Vikram Chowk.
 Sahni has appealed to the common people to be a part of the campaign to take it to its destination.  Along with this, Vande Bharat social media channel has been thanked for cooperating fearlessly and capturing the anger of the people on camera.
